About

I have had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Something about being able to communicate in a static form intrigued me. In writing, you have the ability to consider your words and, once you’ve polished them exactly to your liking, you immortalize them in ink or digitally, forever encapsulating that thought in the river of time.

To complement my natural inclination for writing, I studied Journalism and Technical Communication in college. I would have loved to have gone a more creative route, but as we so often do, we tell ourselves that creativity won’t pay the bills…which isn’t entirely true.

I spent three years after college working as a Public Relations Coordinator for the company that later became my franchisor. I wrote social media posts, newsletters articles, web content, and many news releases. One of my favorite achievements was writing the news release that turned into this Yahoo! Sports article about a custom Nashville Predators ping-pong table made by one of our franchisees.

While I enjoy technical writing, my true passion lies in creative writing, especially children’s books. I even dabble in illustrations, but I’m not quitting my day job for that just yet…

I live in Littleton, CO with my husband and my daughter. I own my own sign and graphics franchise and, in my spare time, I enjoy writing (naturally), trail running, and spending time with my family.
